Terms & Conditions

  1. Eligible Participants: Great Britain residents age 18+ who purchase a Qualifying Product from a participating itsu store during the Qualifying Period(s) & submit a valid claim will be entered into the relevant prize draw for a chance to win the Prize. Eligible Persons excludes employees and directors of The Promoter, their spouses and direct family members, The Promoter’s agencies or anyone else professionally associated with this promotion. Entries from persons who are not Eligible Persons will be disregarded. The Promoter reserves the right to verify that the Prize Winner is an Eligible Participant.
  2. Qualifying Product: Promotional cans of itsu lemon yuzu, cucumber mint, peach lychee and ginger lime zen’water cans. All other variants of itsu zen’water cans are excluded from this promotion.
  3. Qualifying Period(s): Qualifying purchase periods 20.04.23-31.01.24 (prize draw 1) & 01.02.24-31.01.25 (prize draw 2).
  4. Entry requirements: A valid proof of purchase must be submitted within 30 (thirty) days of the date of any/each purchase. Multiple entries are allowed – one prize draw entry will be made for each valid proof of purchase provided.
  5. Prize Winner Draw Dates: One Prize Winner will be drawn on 15.03.2024 (prize draw 1) and one Prize Winner will be drawn on 14.03.2025 (prize draw 2) using a computerised process to randomly select the Prize Winner.
  6. Prize Winner Notification: Each Prize Winner will be notified by email to the email address provided within 5 (five) working days of the Prize Winner Draw Date (Initial Winner Notification Email) and will be provided with the Administrator’s contact details to claim the Prize. If the Prize Winner has not contacted the Administrator within 14 (fourteen) days of the Initial Winner Notification Email, a second email (Second Winner Notification Email) will be sent to the Prize Winner. If the Prize Winner does not respond to the Administrator within 30 (thirty) days of the Second Winner Notification Email, the Prize will be forfeited and an alternative Prize Winner will be drawn and notified following the same process until the Prize is claimed.
  7. The Prize is not transferable, not for sale, re-sale or auction, or redeemable or exchangeable for cash or any alternative. The booking of the Prize will be made in the name of the Prize Winner and the Prize Winner must participate in the Prize.
  8. The Prizes: One trip to Japan for two, to be taken in 2024 (prize draw 1) and 2025 (prize draw 2) respectively, as detailed below. The value of each Prize has been calculated at up to £10,000 (ten thousand pounds), with allowance for fluctuation in flight and accommodation costs. 7-night stay in Tokyo for two adults sharing a double or twin room with breakfast in a 5* hotel (3 hotel options will be provided for the Prize Winner to select from).
    (a) Return flights from a UK mainland airport to Tokyo Haneda or Narita airport
    (b) Return transfers from Tokyo Haneda or Narita airport to hotel
    (c) Return trip for two to Kyoto (economy grade) on the bullet train with cultural tour
    (d) Full day Mount Fuji and Hakone tour with sightseeing cruise
    (e) Traditional Japanese Yaktabune dinner cruise in Tokyo for two
    (f) One dinner for two from a choice of 3 restaurants will be booked for the Prize Winner (restaurant choices will be given at time of claiming the Prize) up to a value of £500.00 for two persons, to include food and drink
    (g) Japanese cooking class for two
    (h) Tokyo helicopter tour for two
    Flights, tours, activities and accommodation are subject to availability and subject to change at time of booking. In the event of any changes a suitable alternative will be offered.
  9. It is the Prize Winner’s responsibility to ensure they arrive on time to participate in any elements of the Prize, or they will forfeit that element of the Prize including flights.
  10. If travel is not permitted due to UK Government, FCDO or Japanese Government restrictions both nationally and/or locally or if the Prize Winner does not feel comfortable to travel during the course of the promotion and prior to the Prize having been booked on behalf of the Prize Winner, the Prize Winner may alternatively choose to receive a £10,000 Trailfinders electronic gift card to book their trip to Japan directly with Trailfinders. The Trailfinders electronic gift card is valid indefinitely, it has no expiry date. The Trailfinders electronic gift card terms and conditions can be found here. Should the Prize Winner choose this option they will be responsible for all costs and management associated with the Prize. If the Trailfinders electronic gift card is not available at the time of claiming the Prize, then any available alternative will be offered to the Prize Winner.
  11. The Trailfinders electronic gift card is non-transferable and may not be sold or auctioned.
  12. The Promoter and the Administrator accept no responsibility for hotels/tours/restaurants/transport companies etc being withdrawn or amended. In this event, the Promoter will endeavour to offer a suitable alternative.
  13. The Prize booking dates may change based on the operating schedule/flight cancellations from the airline. The Prize is non-transferable and non re-routeable.
  14. Prize booking: The Prize Winner must give at least 8 (eight) weeks’ notice of their preferred departure date and must travel by 01 December 2024 (prize draw 1) and 01 December 2025 (prize draw 2). Exclusion dates may apply.
  15. Travel is subject to flight and hotel availability at the time of booking the Prize. The Prize Winner will be asked to provide their details and those of the person accompanying them on the trip. It is the Prize Winner’s responsibility to provide correct information. If incorrect details are provided this could delay trip booking time or incur costs to the Prize Winner should the details need to be amended subsequent to being booked. In some cases, such as name changes (where the Prize Winner has not provided the correct information), where the booking may not be amended, any costs of cancellation or rebooking will be the responsibility of the Prize Winner or they may forfeit the Prize.
  16. Each Prize is valid for a single booking only. The Prize Winner and their guest must travel together on the same flight to the Prize destination and stay in the same hotel sharing a double or twin room. Activities, such as tours and excursions, which are included in the Prize cannot be changed at the Prize Winner’s request.
  17. Changes to booking: No changes can be made once the booking has been confirmed to the Prize Winner. If the Prize Winner or their guest advises that they cannot travel once booking is confirmed, no changes can be made, and the Prize will be forfeited. This applies but is not limited to traveller schedule clash or work commitments or traveller ill health, flight cancellation by the airline due to strike, political action or terrorism, mechanical failure or environmental condition.
  18. It is the Prize Winner’s responsibility to ensure they and their guest take adequate and appropriate travel insurance and that they read the terms and conditions before accepting cover. Should either traveller need to make a claim against the carrier or any agent, the traveller must make the claim directly as neither the Promoter or Administrator will pursue a claim on the traveller’s behalf, however the Promoter or Administrator will provide the traveller with any necessary booking information to pursue a claim where the Prize has been booked by the Promoter or Administrator and in the event of a successful claim should the money need to be refunded to the original payment card, then this refund will be forwarded to the Prize Winner with prior request and consent in writing. This refund would not be forwarded until such time as it had been cleared through the Administrator’s accounts.
  19. Travellers are expected to be in good health and fit to travel and it is the Prize Winner’s responsibility to inform The Administrator of any additional requirements including but not limited to wheelchair facilities.
  20. It is the responsibility of the Prize Winner to ensure they and their guest each has a valid passport and travel insurance and obtain any necessary vaccinations and visas for their trip. Each person’s passport must have an expiry date of no less than 6 (six) months following the date of travel, unless otherwise specified by a pertinent regulation. No responsibility will be taken by the Promoter or the Administrator if the Prize Winner and/or their guest is unable to travel due to insufficient documentation, insurance, visa or vaccination. It is the responsibility of the Prize Winner to ensure they can comply with any local issues and/or conditions before travel.   21. Except for the excursions, meals and travel stated in these terms and conditions, and specifically those included in clauses 8 and 9, the Prize does not include any food, drink, spending money or other personal or incidental expenses. Any other costs incurred in addition to those set out in these terms & conditions are the responsibility of the Prize Winner and neither the Promoter nor the Administrator accept any responsibility for any such costs incurred for any reason.
  22. The Prize Winner may be required to provide a valid credit or debit card when checking into their hotel to cover any discretionary expenses such as mini bar or room service which are not included in the Prize.
  23. The Prize Winner and their guest are responsible for getting to any departure points (for flights etc), in time for security checks and the check-in procedures on the day of departure. Travel costs to and from the UK airport are at the Prize Winner’s own expense.
  24. It is the Prize Winner’s responsibility to ensure that the email address and any other contact details provided are accurate and correct.
  25. A valid email address and internet access are required to enter and to claim and redeem the Prize.
  26. The Promoter and the Administrator reserve the right to verify the validity of entries and to disqualify any entries without notice if they have reason to believe the entry is not valid or does not comply with these terms and conditions.
  27. All claims and entries must be made by the Eligible Participant only. Bulk claims from trade, consumer groups or third parties and/or claims made by any automated means will not be accepted, likewise any claims that are made using a computer or computers to circumvent these terms and conditions (for example but not limited to the use of script, brute force and masking of identity by manipulating IP addresses, using identities which are not their own or any other automated means to increase the number of claims) are not valid and will not be accepted. The Promoter and the Administrator reserve the right to investigate any such claims and to take any reasonable remedial action against any such claims.
  28. The Promoter, the Administrator and their associated agencies and companies will not be liable for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits), expenses or damage which is suffered or sustained (whether or not arising from any person’s negligence) in connection with this promotion or accepting or using the Prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law (including personal injury, death and fraud), in which that liability is limited to the minimum allowable by law. By taking part in this promotion, you agree to abide by these terms and conditions.
  29. By entering The Prize Draw, Eligible Persons will be deemed to have fully and unconditionally accepted and agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions (The Terms and Conditions) and The Promoter’s decision, which is final and binding in all matters relating to The Prize Draw. Eligibility for and winning The Prize is contingent upon fulfilling all the requirements set out in these Terms and Conditions.
  30. Neither the Promoter or the Administrator shall be liable for any failure to comply with their obligations (joint or individual) where the failure is caused by something outside their reasonable control; such circumstances shall include, but not be limited to, weather conditions, fire, flood, hurricane, pandemic, strike, industrial dispute, war, hostilities, political unrest, riots, civil commotion, inevitable accidents, supervening legislation or any other circumstances amounting to force majeure and reserve their right to terminate, modify or suspend the promotion in any such event. This also applies to any actual, anticipated or alleged breach of any applicable law or regulation, or if travel would be contrary to UK Foreign Office advice, or if circumstances arise outside of its control that prevent the implementation of the Prize.
  31. Your details will be used by the Administrator for the purposes of operating the Prize Draw only unless otherwise stated in these terms and conditions and will not be retained by the Administrator for more than 30 (thirty) days after the promotion has ended and the Prize has been claimed.
  32. Claims or entries that are delivered late or incomplete or damaged claims or claims that cannot be made due to provision of an incorrect email address or otherwise not in accordance with these terms and conditions will not be accepted. Neither the Promoter or Administrator accepts responsibility for system errors or other issues that may result in disruption to lost, delayed or unreceived entries, winner notifications or Prize(s). Neither the Promoter or the Administrator will be responsible for the non-inclusion of entries as a result of technical failures or otherwise, including any such failure which is within the control of the Promoter or the Administrator.
  33. Neither the Promoter or the Administrator can be held responsible for a Prize Winner failing to claim the Prize in the specified timeframe or for failing to provide accurate information which affects acceptance, claim or delivery of the Prize.
  34. The Promoter and the Administrator reserve their right to offer a substitute Prize of equal or greater value in the event of unforeseen circumstances or circumstances outside of their control.
  35. The Promoter’s decision relating to the Prize draw is final and binding, and no correspondence will be entered into regarding their decision.
  36. The surname and county of residence of the Prize Winner will be made available on request. The Prize Winner may object to their surname or county of residence being published by submitting their objection to [email protected] within 14 (fourteen) days of the Prize Winner Notification date. Without prejudice to a Prize winner’s right to object, the Promoter will provide this information to the Advertising Standards Authority on request.
  37. The entry instructions form part of these terms, and any entry is subject to these terms and conditions. By entering the prize draw you agree to accept and be bound by these terms and conditions, and any further terms and conditions relating to the Prize. In the event of any discrepancy between these terms and conditions and the details in any promotional material, these terms and conditions will prevail.
  38. If you opt in to receive marketing communications relating to itsu ltd, your data will be used in accordance with itsu’s privacy policy which can be found here.
