How do I claim my reward?

After your smart meter is installed, you will receive an email containing a unique code and instructions on how to claim.

What is the choice of rewards?

You can choose either a £2.50 Costa Coffee eGift or to plant a tree with our partner, the charity One Tree Planted.

Where can I find my Unique Code?

You’ll find this on the email we sent you. You’ll need this to claim your reward, so please get in touch with us at [email protected] if you have any problems finding it.

When must I claim my reward by?

You have 30 days from the date of our email to claim your reward.  

Who do I contact if I am having difficulty claiming my reward?

First, double check to make sure the unique code you’re entering matches up with the code included in our email (it may help to copy and paste it from the email we sent you).

If you do have any problems claiming your reward, we’ll be happy to help – please email [email protected], making sure to include your unique code in your email to us so that we can help you as quickly as possible.

What is the value of my Costa Coffee eGift?

Your Costa Coffee eGift has a £2.50 balance.

Does my Costa Coffee eGift have an expiry date?

The balance is valid for 12 months from the date of issue; any balances will expire if it’s not used for 12 consecutive months.

How do I use a Costa Coffee eGift?

You can either scan it straight from your phone at the till or print it out and take the paper copy to the store with you. 

Where can I use my Costa Coffee eGift?

 You can use it at Costa Coffee outlets in England, Scotland & Wales, excluding Costa Express and Proud to Serve locations. You can find your nearest Costa Coffee here. 

What can I buy with my Costa Coffee eGift?

It’s your choice! You can purchase any items in participating stores, including coffee, food and merchandise, but excluding other gift cards. 

How do I check the balance of my Costa Coffee eGift?

Just click here. (You’ll need your eGift number to hand).

Can I use my Costa Coffee eGift more than once?

Yes, when you use your eGift, the amount of your purchase will be deducted from the balance. The remaining balance may be applied to future purchases. Change will not be given.

Can I use my Costa Coffee eGift as part-payment?

Yes, you can use any accepted method of payment to pay the difference if your purchase comes to more than £2.50.

Do I have to spend the whole value of my Costa Coffee eGift in one purchase?

No, any balance will remain on your Costa Coffee eGift as long as you use it at least once over a 12-month period. The balance will expire if it is not used for 12 consecutive months.

Can I collect Costa Coffee Club Card points when I pay using my Costa Coffee eGift?

Yes, you can collect points on purchases made with your eGift.

Can I top up my Costa Coffee eGift?

Yes, you can top up £5-£75 on each Costa Coffee eGift here (top up is not available in store). 

Who is One Tree Planted?

One Tree Planted is a non-profit organization created by Matt Hill as a non-profit in Shelburne, Vermont in 2014. You can find out more about them here.

How does One Tree Planted work?

If you choose to plant a tree with One Tree Planted, we will organise this on your behalf and provide you with the details of the specific tree-planting project.

When will my tree be planted?

The time between your donation and the actual tree planting will vary depending on the region of the tree-planting project and the time of year. Planting usually happens during the rainy season, when the soil provides optimum conditions for tree survival.
